Converting anamorphic to 4:3
Hi,
I have some footage that has been shot in anamorphic that I’d like to use in a 4:3 project in Avid Express Pro. What’s the best way to convert this footage so that it displays in 4:3 without letterboxing? -

if you don’t want to leeterbox you’re stuck with letter boxing and then blowing up the whole image and losing the edges, though you can pan and scan to nake it a little more sympathetic.

Pix in Pix 100% horizontal and 125% vertical
that brings the picture back in aspect, but, yes you do loose the sides….
