Hey. Is it possible to convert a regualr DVD to a Blue Ray HD DVD using Final Cut Pro and DVD studio pro?

Is it as easy as I think of using Cinamatic Pro to to capture the regular DVD, Compress it using compressor into an HD DVD H264 60 or 90 minutes and then author in DVD studio pro like a normal DVD selecting HD DVD in DVD Studio Pro.

I have the latest FCP, Compressor and DVD studio pro

HD DVD can be authored in DVDSP but you can only burn to a normal DVD-R or DL, this is a make shift solution.

DVDSP has ZERO BluRay support. Encore has basic BR authoring and well a Toast.

But why do you want to do this starting with a SD DVD, just put that in a BluRay or HD DVD player and the player will up-convert it as well or better than anything you will do with hours of work.
