  • Converting a camera from global rotations to local rotation values..

Posted by Ian Northrop on July 11, 2011 at 9:49 pm

    Hello,

Does anyone have any insight into this topic? I’ve got a great camera from Syntheyes but it looks like it’s using global rotation values. If I can figure out (with your help?) how to convert to local ration values then I can get a much smoother camera move (the end-goal) so, so much easier. Please, please help!!!

    Thanks in advance,

    Ian

You may be able to test and see if building a camera rig out of Null objects and linking those to the data in the camera exported from Sytheyes will do the trick.
