    Hello guys,
I know this is covered quite a bit, but I’m confused by all the information out there.
I have a 24 fps Pro-res 422 timeline in FCP, and need to convert footage from
a Cannon mark II 5D to fit that format. I have compressor and cinema tools, what
is the simplest way? I need to do the conversion to the original clips, so I can work
then in with my other footage.

    Thanks
    Jeff

If you would go 30>29,98 the way would be to transcode to any Intraframe codec and then conforming with CinemaTools.
But going 30> 24 Compressor is your way. Transcode and change the time-base at once.
