converting 24p footage
I have 24p standard def. footage that was not shot in advanced mode and I need to drop the fields on it. I’m used to dealing with 24pA footage but apparently the same protocol does not apply. I tried dropping it on a timeline in FCP with no field dominance figuring because it was 3:2 that it should just drop the fields but that didn’t work. Any help on this would be great I’m at my wits end.
