Converting 24fps / 23.976 -> 25 fps
Hi there,
I have some quicktimes that are 23.976 / 24 fps that I need to convert to 25 fps pal movies. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the best results in AE 6.5? I’ve tried interpreting the footage at its correct frame rate and then rendering at 25fps from a 25fps comp. This keeps audio in sync but movement is jerky. Is there a better method?

I haven’t had a need for this yet, but Nattress makes some good plug-ins. See if this might work for you:

thanks for that. i don’t have access to FCP though and thought it was probably accomplishable in AE in the mean time.
