converting 1080psf 29.97 to 720p!
I have just learned that Sony’s 1080Psf 29.97 is actually a progressive format. That’s a problem for me because I’m trying to integrate my 1080Psf footage into my DVCPRO HD or ProRes 422 720p project and I’m getting interlacing tears. It looks bad! I’m using the BM Multibridge Pro and it doesn’t have a conversion for me.
What is the best way to convert the 1080PsF format to a 720p format without the jagged flickering edges?

Give Compressor a shot. Use the advanced format conversions, you can customize every setting.
