Convert to color profile problem.
I’m having a real frustrating problem and I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I have my Photoshop (PS CC) working space set to sRGB. On importing an image, I find that the colors are a little washed out, so I decide to go edit/convert to profile and choose sRGB from the dropdown. In the COnvert To Profile dialog box I have ‘preview’ ticked, and whilst still in the convert to profile dialog box, the colors change (I presume to sRGB) and look perfect. However, as soon as I click ‘OK’ to exit back to the main PS window, the colors change right back to washed out. I click on convert to profile again to ensure I chose the correct color setting and it’s set to sRGB, yet there is absolutely no change to my image, except in the convert to profile dialog preview.
What am I missing?
