convert normal map to mesh for 3D printing
Hello,
I would like to convert a normal map into geometry, so all details contained in the normal also get printed. I’ve tried all I know, searched where I can, no decent solution so far.
help me Creative Cow, you’re my only hope…

maybe use a tool like substance painter or awesome bump, if it’s still around, to convert normal map to a height map then use that to drive a displacer deformer on high poly geo, and current state to object that bad boy.
