From this application, you can’t get nothing that works on FC.
Buy ClipWrap and convert your .mts to Prores.

Jeffrey, the point is not just to get QT files (.mov) from the .mt’s.
You need those QT files being supported on FC.
No one of the files/formats out of “mtsconverter”, are supported by FC .

December 31, 2010 at 12:01 pmI now see that the OP had that one in his list.
Your right Rafael, its all about the codec. That software didn’t indicate what codecs it transcoded to. I assumed it would use whatever codecs that are installed. Like I said shot in the dark.

December 31, 2010 at 7:40 pmHi Jeffrey,
The problem is that most of those converters are aimed for consumers and export delivery formats/codecs.
Nothing that you should bring to any FC time-line.
Happy New year for all of you!!
Best,

December 27, 2012 at 7:08 amFinal Cut Pro supports 3GP, AVI, MP4, MXF, QuickTime, AVCHD, DV, DVCPRO HD, H.264, HDV, Motion JPEG, MPEG IMX format, so i think you can convert files from mts to some other format like mp4, avi, etc.
see: https://www.ilikemall.com/how-to/convert-mts-to-mp4-mac.html
It works fine for me.
