convert FC7 project to FCX
Hi all,
hope your day is more pleasant than mine.I came across a short film project I did years ago using final cut legacy 7. fortunately I have a version of the project output to quicklime. However it is incomplete with a scene slightly out of order and no music or fully. Is there a way to move the project over to FCX. I am not positive that I have a complete project file I have all the catch folders and what looks like few code files.

You would need FCP7 to open those “code files” (which are probably FCP7 project files), export an XML of your timeline, and then use SendtoX from the app store to convert your FCP7 timeline to an FCPX Project.
