    Hi!

I have applyed a Animation Preset named Ocean Tide to a couple of textlayers and adjusted it so the text just slightly moves.

It renders very slowly so i tried to convert the expression to keyframes to see if the render time improves. I pressed E+E and selected Amount and then went to Animation > Keyframe Assistant > Convert Expressions to Keyframes. AE does not convert the expression to any motion, the text stays in a static positon, so my cuestion is if all expressions can be converted to keyframes. It seems that only some expressions can be converted to keyframes. Am i right?

I have tried to convert a simple expression (Random) to keyframes and it worked like a charm.

    I am using AE7.

I think you unfortunately stumbled onto a special case (the expression applied to an expression selector). Convert Expression to Keyframes does not seem to work for it the way it does for other expressions.
