    Hello,

We shot footage on Panasonic P2 1080i 60 with the DVC Pro Codec. The Client is is in another state and wants me to send the raw footage so she can view and pick shots for editing. The files can be sent in low resolution just for logging. Does anyone have a quick or simple way to convert the files so she can view? They do not have any editing software so my guess is the only option is for me to convert them to H264? or could I just send the P2 DVC Pro Files and is there a P2 reader software for those with out an editor? I appreciate any advice.

You want ProxyMill from imagineproducts.com. It will make QT files with burned in timecode directly from the P2 card. No need to import into FCP, then slap on a timecode reader and export…this does it in one step.
