Convert Camera path to spline?

tkae a look in the timeline menus, you will find the path>spline conversion there as well as the spline>path.

So I can’t figure this out. I found the “convert to spline” and “convert from spline” buttons, but when I select the camera, they are still greyed out. What am I missing?
