convert avi in prores direct in FCP
hi,
i upload my avi files from my nikon d90. I trimmed all videos and made the whole project in FCP. Now i want to start with COLOR. But as i export i see in COLOR only red boxes. Seems COLOR cant read my avi files.
What can I do. Can i convert the whole project in FCP to continue in COLOR.Thanks for your help

Color…or as you call it, COLOR…can’t work with AVI. Use Compressor to batch convert all your source media to ProRes. Use the Reconnect Media command in FCP to reconnect to your new media files.
