convert AVD file to MOV
I got some police dashcam footage on a data DVD from a local sheriff’s dept. The disc has an app on it called AutoPlay.exe. When I open that app on a windows pc, I can access the various .avd files on the disc. One .avd file represents a clip that the dashcam recorded. I can play each .avd file using the AutoPlay interface.
Does anyone know how I can convert those .avd files into quicktime movies that I can import and use in Avid MC 7?

Do a Google search for .AVD file. There is quite a lot of info about them.
