  Convert analog TV show to HD?

  Okay, I am working for a little independent TV show that runs on a secondary cable network (not a biggie, but reaches 74 million households). This show has been on the air for almost 20 years and we have a few shows mastered. We are now in the beginning stages of syndicating these older seasons. We are seeing that there is a demand in the DTV realm for programming (in other words, the DTV stations are saying “YES, YES, YES, as long as it is digital”).

  Can we convert these older shows for DTV? How? Where?

  For the new shows, do we bail out on our PD-170’s and switch to HD in order to comply? Now I know that is a question with lot’s of if’s, and’s or but’s so I guess the real question is there a reliable website you can direct me to for this kind of info?
