  • Convert a Child Layer’s Properties to Keyframes

Posted by S.j. Deluise on September 28, 2010 at 8:39 pm

    The situation:
•A camera is a child of a null
•The null’s Position and Rotation properties are keyframed

    The goal:
Since the camera is a child and its properties aren’t showing a numeric change, is there a way to convert its motion to keyframes and delete the null? Similar to the way an expression can be converted to keyframes.

Carl Larsen has some tutorials here on the COW that show how to do this sort of conversion. They’re linked to from here.
