    Hi,

I am trying to import a webcam video which has a square 1.0 pixel aspect ratio, 864×480 into Premiere which is ok, however I want to export to 720×576 PAL Widescreen (1.4 pixel aspect ratio) when I select this during export in Premiere, it makes it 720×576 but with black bars, is there anyway to make it proper 16:9 and 720×576?

    Thanks

    Hi James,

If you are seeing small bars, you are likely seeing it in the overscan area, and that’s normal, part of the PAR conversion.

If you need a perfect screen fill, you can either resize inside a PAL timeline, or use the crop settings above the export preview
