  convert 720p to Pal DVD black lines

  Hi there,

  Basically I am using media encoder to convert 1280x720p After effects composition to Mpeg-2 DVD 720×576 Pal.

  I am having trouble with black pillar bars on the video

  I’m aware that resolutions like 1024×576 are now 1050×576 due to a new PAR system (I think).

  So far I have cropped 9 pixels off the top and the bottom which seems to have worked and got rid of the pillar bars….is that the correct amount to crop by?

  can anyone help me 🙂
