Convert 2D scale to 3D position
hello all,
i’ve got a comp where a 2d text layer moves towards camera using scale keyframes… is there a way to convert the scale keyframes to 3d z position keyframes?

i’ve got a few comps doing different things.
comp 1. scales from 1000% to 100%.
comp 2. scales from 100% to 0%.does that help?

had a feeling there wouldn’t be a short cut. i’ve only got about 150 layers to match… i had hoped there might be a plugin / script that could handle it.

You might try in the expressions forum. I could write you up a ease expression that could take could take info from scale and apply it to your z position, but if you truly want to convert scale to position it’s going to take a little more math than I know.
