    I inadvertently shot a scene in 29.97 for a 23.98 project. When I used Cinema Tools to conform the 29.97 to 23.98 it worked fine, but of course it slowed the sound.

    I think I’ve made this work before but I don’t remember how. Can anyone help?

    Would you use Cinema Tools or Compressor? I’m editing in FCP 7.0.3

    COMPRESSOR…because if you CONFORM in Cinema Tools, it’ll slow it down. Compressor will remove the extra VIDEO frames (leaving audio alone). But make sure you put the frame controls all on BEST, and deinterlace. And this will take a while to convert.
