convert 29.97 audio files to 23.97 in final cut pro
I just finished shooting an entire feature film on the HVX-200 panasonic camera with the P2 card. I shot on 24p, but my audio mixer gave me audio files on a cd that was 29.97. I have synced all my video with my production audio, but noticed that my sound is 29.97 and my video is 23.97 on FCP’s timeline. How can I fix this problem. Does my audio files have to be converted to 23.97 to match the video? and can this problem be fixed in FCP?
please help.

Audio does not have a frame rate, audio recorded with 29.97 FOOTAGE works just the same with any other frame rate. As long as you do no speed changes it should work fine.
