  conversion of mts to mp4

  hey creatives,
  i was recently shooting on mts codec.and cutting on premiere and i have a powerful machine . but due to some reason i am not able to edit on it.
  i am cutting on my friend’s machine but that is not so powerful.
  i need to convert mts to mp4 for ease of editing in premiere.
  so,what procedure i can choose ?
  i want to convert to 720p or 480p
