I have to submit a film online to a film festival tomorrow and they requested the following codec:

    VIDEO
    avc1 H.264
    1280px720
fps 25 (video is shot in 24)
    bitrate 821kbps

    AUDIO
    codec: mp4a: MPEG-4AAC LC
    channels: 2
    Sample rate 48KHZ
    Bitrate: 129kbps

If this would be a regular quicktime H.264, I would have no issues converting in compressor or mpeg streamclip. The avc1 part confuses me. Anyone has an idea how I could proceed with this? The original file is a 1080p prores LT file in 24fps.

    Thanks a lot!

You need to export an Mp4/H264, not QT/H264.

    Hello,

I’d like to know how did you manage to get the “codec: mp4a: MPEG-4AAC LC” for the audio setting.

    Thank you for your time!

When exporting a QT movie, just go to the audio settings, and select AAC instead of PCM.
If you export an MP4 with QT, AAC audio is the default setting.
