Conversion for editing
Hello,
I use a 7D or 5D, shooting in H264. I convert to Apple Pro Res at the moment using Compressor, occasionally FCPs Log and Transfer option. However on my Laptop, I can’t get either program or afford to buy again.
A couple of shoots I take my laptop and start importing cards on location and use Mpeg Streamclip. However, it seems to group all my video files, in to one long video file. Am I missing a simple setting somewhere or is it not possible to keep the files seperate on Mpeg Streamlcip?

When you do Batch List in Mpeg Streamclip, a dialogue box opens asking you to “Please Choose A Task”. Make sure “Joint all the files” is not checked.
