Activity Forums Compression Techniques Conversion

Does anyone know of a program that installs on the MAC (mine is a G5 10.4.9) operating system that can convert my finished .MOV, Quicktime or MP4 files to FLV (FLASH) files so they can then be published to a web site?

Or… does anyone know if I can do it in Compressor on the Final Cut studio 2 programs.

OR any other way to do it???

I tried searching the Internet but they all seem to be Windows programs or if they were MAC they didn’t convert to FLV.

    Thanks.

You’d find a few answers by searching the threads here.

Episode, Squeeze, On2 FlixPro. Flix should work as a plugin for FCP and Compressor but haven’t tried it myself.

Episode (which can do FLV as well as many other codecs) also works as a plugin to Compressor.

Both Squeeze and Flix have Mac and Windows versions but many sites you’ve hunted might only mention the Windows versions.

Episode is Mac only but a real power tool.
