What’s the best way to lessen the moire effect that happens in clips when there’s a pan across something with lines such as books on a shelf or clapboard lines on a house?

Also–when viewing an avi clip (either exported from AE or PPro, or just captured in PPro) on Windows Media Player, it seems that there are often visual artifacts, jaggies and/or less than good sound–is this something other people have noticed, and, if so, does anyone know why?

    Thanks a lot!

Add a gaussian blur with only the Y direction blurred a touch. Keyframe this to smooth in and out along with the pan move. You can also try the directional blur set to vertical.
