Controlling 3 machines (HD/Digi)
Bit of a strange question, but I thought this was the best place to ask it..
In my racks at the moment, I have two SRW-5500 HDCAM SR decks and two Digibeta decks (A DVW-500 DVW-2000), along with a lovely remote patch panel that will let me remote any combination of those two machines together, now the question I’m asking is as I’m doing more and more HD/SD dubbing from the same master, is there any way I
can remote THREE machines together, one being the player, the other two being recorders?Since originally posting I stumbled across a Sony BVE2000 that will control up to six machines, thing is, would it work with both HDCAM and Digi??

although i’m not sure you can try to put the machine’s in pararun.
i have used pararun a lot to multiroll several machine’s but never for recording.
i don’t know if the record command is supported in pararun???greet Maurice

Thanks for the reply, I’ve never really used pararun but I’d assume it would mean hardwiring the remotes between both recorders? That still leaves me with the problem of firing off the player machine too though..
It’d be so much easier with two mouse buttons!
