Control Surfaces
Hello
How many users use a control surface such as Contour Shuttle with Vegas and which one do they recommend?
Do they make editing easier? I use the trimmer a lot rather than editing on the timeline.

You will probably find most users use some form of workflow enhancing tools – specialist keyboards, shuttles etc etc.
The issue is, you won’t know until you have tried it. I for one never use the trimmer for editing – I find the concept painstaking and have adjusted my workflow to edit on the timeline – but thats me!
A lot of users have the Shuttle pro. I have but also have a Bella keyboard with built-in shuttle and I now have the Shuttle Pro gathering dust on the shelf.

The Shuttle Pro is a life saver for me. I could’t work without it. I just use a regular keyboard. Also the shuttle pro works with Sound Forge and Acid and a few other programs I use. You can configure it to almost any software.
