Control Panel Presets? What Presents?

I sent a message to AJA support a few weeks ago and was surprised when there was no reply. They are usually quite responsive. Perhaps this is a major bug they’re wrestling with.

Hi-

Any and all of the Io Control Panel settings, including ProcAmp, can be saved and recalled later. Are you saving the presets as “default” as follows?

Under the “Presets” tab, there are controls for “Load Preset” and “Save Preset As…”. Any preset can also be set as the default, with the “Set Default” button, which once set even retains the settings if the Io is powered down and unplugged!

I’ve saved, saved as, saved as default, and even named each preset (Betacam, DVCam). Without fail, the next time I boot up, it’s back to the original presets 1-Factory Preset (default), 2-Factory Preset and so on. Each time I boot up I have to go into the control panel, set the input from SDI to Component, Audio to Analog, Output to Betacam Component, adjust the proc amp, etc. The control panel just will not remember the settings from the previous session.

I have the exact same problem. NO matter how many times I save, save as default, whatever, it still reverts back to the factory presets.
