Control Panel Crashes on 10.4.2
Hi,
I have an IO on a Dual, 2 Gig G5 running OS-X 10.4.2. I just downloaded the control panel software today and wanted to upgrade the firmware, but every time I try to run the Control Panel program, it crashes immediately.
I downloaded it again on the off chance that it had become corrupted (although this is unlikely as it probably wouldn’t unzip) Anyway, same problem.
Has anyone had problems like this and can anyone suggest a course of action?

You might want to download the firmware update first and install it and then do the control panel.
I’m running exact same sys as you are and no problems but I did install it under 10.4.1. Hope this helps….Ed
