Control Panel Conversion Question
Does anyone know if the new control panel will be able to do this?
1.- Convert NTSC to PAL while capturing to disk?
2.- The other way around?It seems like it could, but I do not know how exactly.
If it does, I will use the “new” PAL material to encode MPEG-2 files
and author a PAL dvd.I will appreciate the help very much.

no, the AJA I/O is not a NTSC/PAL standards converter. You can look at the inexpensive Kramer Electtronics products for this function.

The new Compressor 2 will do this I think.
