    I am shooting an event (an awarding ceremony, in particular) and would like to know how to write a contract. Can somebody show me the wordings on a video contract? I know a contract differs from one situation to another (like when I do a marketing video for companies, which is a lot different from an awarding ceremony) but all I need is to have some sort of a format so I

    Why would anyone offer this to a client in a video contract? Do you ofer this?

    oops. Meant for that to drop into the forum that was discussing “Work for hire” or “who owns the rights”. This contract shows that some clients take their video under their wing as far as ownership.

    Hi Steve, I understand. But would you write the contract with you as the owner? Not the client? This contract in regard to ownership seems to protect the client only. Your thoughts?
