Just got mine and I have been sitting here making a list of short cuts I would like. The total already exceeds the 15 allowed.
Question is, does any one use multiple profiles in V6.
I would like one profile to have commonly used short cuts and probabably 4 keys for multicam (1C, 1D, 2C and 2D)
A second profile could be purely for multicam edit to cater for 6 to 8 cameras.
    Any ideas?

I personally have not used multiple profiles. Putting the camera switches on there is definitely a great usage. I put three cameras on mine (dissolve only) requiring three buttons. Plust the play/pause and play/stop took a couple more (left those as default).

I can see where multiple profiles *could* be useful but then your labels wouldn’t match unless you changed them too.

    Thanks Edward.
I just had a short spell of edit and trying to use CSP. I am beginning to think that anything I can click with the mouse should be left well alone. I am sure it will be weeks before I will get my short cuts sorted but in the meantime I love the jog shuttle.

    Mahesh.

I use the shuttlepro and it’s fantastic! I don’t use multiples but I can understand what you mean about wanting that flexability. The reality of it is that if you’re doing multicam it’s not going to be for every project. You can easily just swap the multicam settings in and reprogram it when you’re done. If you are doing multicam for every project then I’d say jump to and use four of your buttons for it. It would be worth it. 🙂 I know, not terribly helpful but I’m with ya!

    Hiyah Mahesh!

So you got one? Excellent aren’t they? The Jog/Shuttle is spectacular and the frame by frame control is FAB. You should try out the slip edit process.

    Thanks for the encouragement Steph.
I have not worked out how to do multiples. This would present oprblems with button labels ( as Edward says ) but I shall have a go once I get the feel of the device.
It’s great having S for split on this without reverting to Key board.
