  Continuum in FCP cache problems

  I keep losing the controls for BCC4 in FCP5.1.1. I delete the Final Cut Pro Obj Cache, do the shift lock trick and the controls are back… for a few hour, perhaps a day. Then I have to go through it all again. Has anyone found a more permanent solution?
