I’m creating a faded rough paper look from a rectangle shape layer I drew in AE. I’ve successfully got the look for the paper using the Add Grain effect and tweaking some of the colors and parameters available. However, I’m looking to do a 3D camera pull away from very close to the page, and I’m seeing that the continuously rasterize option is not available. The grain effect is pixelated, and the text that lays across the page is also pixelated, which was created in AE as well. Why is this not vector by default and how do I create this so it is vector?

    Thanks,
    Eric

I don’t believe you can. One suggestion I have is that you make a pre-comp with the grain effect added, then change the size of the composition in the settings to make it twice or three times as big. That way, AE would render a bigger version of it, giving you more clarity when zoomed in.
