Continuously rasterize precomps?
Posted by Jiri Fiala on April 6, 2008 at 2:59 pmHello, I have some vector layers in precomp. How do I set the precomp to be continuously rasterized and NOT collapsed? Is it even possible?
Thanks!

It’s the same switch when you’re dealing with pre-comps. So if you enable that switch its both continuously rasterized and collapsed (these two operations can be thought of as the same thing).

April 7, 2008 at 12:06 pmYes, but I don`t want to collapse the precomp… Coordinates and rotation go nuts when collapsed. I just want the vector art in precomp to be continuously rasterized. There really should be two switches.

Maybe we can change the way you have your pre-comp set up to fix this. How many layers are in the pre-comp? Are they 2D or 3D? Is the pre-comp layer in the parent comp 2D or 3D?
Coordinates and rotation shouldn’t go ‘nuts,’ they should change in a very predictable manner when you continuously rasterize/collapse transformations.
