Continuous spin on a coin
Hello,
I’d really appreciate some help on something I’m trying to achieve in After Effects. I have two coins on two layers, one heads and one tails, that I’ve set to rotate to look as if the coin is spinning on a vertical axis, 3D style. The heads and tails layers alternate to show up on screen as the coin spins.
The thing is that this coin is going to be part of a set of videos that need to be interactive. I was planning on bringing it into flash along with some others to set it up so that people can navigate between the videos.
I want a user to be able to click on the coin as it spins to take them to another video so I need the coin to spin continuously. If the coin isn’t clicked on, I just want it to spin infinitely, possibly on some sort of loop.
I guess I could try saving the coin out as separate footage, bringing it back in to AE and using footage interpretation to repeat it. I was just wondering if there was any easy way of doing this without saving it out as a separate video?
Thanks,
Lisa.
