Continuous PLAY in Premiere Pro CS5
hey im a young film maker. I was taught editing on Premiere Pro in 11th grade so it was probably CS1 back then or CS nothing lol . but ive been using sony vegas ever since. But im trying to step up my game so im using premiere pro. in sony vegas when u hit the spacebar or play, it plays until u make a major change like edit an effect or something . not if you just click almost anywhere. is there a way to make premiere pro play continously so that u can make changes while actually viewing the footage. thanks

Yes, upgrade to CS6. That functionality has just been added.

lol yeah apparently all u have to do is read .. see it here in the specs
– uninterrupted playback, which continues previews even while you modify effect properties and perform many other operations

It ships in May (I’ve heard as early as the 6th, but I’ve heard late May as well). Should be available as a free upgrade if you just recently purchased 5.5 (there are cut-off dates listed in the press releases).
