So I’m trying to create a simple rig where I have an object following the rotation of 2 parent objects but it stays up right the entire time. I though I was on the right track using the constraint tag (Up Vector and Parent) but it’s not working. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong or an easier way to do this?

    Thanks!

not understanding, the ‘sign’ does stay upright the entire time while the ‘posts’ rotate. What is supposed to happen?

The problem i’m having is that it doesn’t maintain it’s original distance between the posts. As it rotates to the left, the main object doesn’t stay in the middle of the posts.

the constraint is using Cube.2’s axis to move it and it does stay in relation to the other cubes but that axis is up in the center of cube2. If you use the Axis tool to move cube2’s axis to Cube1’s top like this 13546_constratintrotation1.c4d.zip it will stay where you want. Note the Constraint doesn’t need anymore than just Cube1 to attach to.
