    another q:
is there a workaround to get an emitter to emit a constant stream of particles? if for example i set particles per second to 10, then 10 come out, but not 1 every 10/25th of a second. or if i set to 25 particles per second, they don’t come out one per frame. if i need a stream of constant particles (for example, like on a conveyor belt) how can i achieve this?

    thanks,
    scott.

I just tried it. It works for me. I set everything to 0.

Use a Point, directional. “Velocity random” to 0, “velocity from” to 0

There may have been another one that I did. The particles came out evenly spaced.

yes you’re right. i had assumed i needed velocity anyway and forgot that the particles on a motion path take their speed from the light defining the motion path.
