I have several jpeg pan and scan images that constantly need to be rendered if adjusted in the time line. I was wondering if there is any down side to rendering them once, then exporting each one as a QT self contained movie. That way I can just import the MOV when and if I want to move them in the time line.

You won’t be able to zoom in on them with some pixelation, but you’d still be able to animate them on the x and y axis just fine.

I wouldn’t need to zoom in as it will have already been done before exporting. I would merely in importing the finished pan and scan clip as a self contained movie which wouldn’t have to be rendered again. At least that’s what I’m thinking…
