Constant Power Panning problem
Hi all,
I have 5 (no LFE) channels of surround that has come out of Pyramix and I have loaded the 5 descete WAV files into Vegas.
According to theory I should use the Constant Power pan setting to avoid any program from the Front Left or Right going to the Centre output.
Catch is the second I change say the Front Left channel to Constant Power it only sends program to the centre regardless of it’s front panning position ????
I’m using Vegas 10e and I’ve also tried this in 10c and 10e 32 bit. Sound card is a RME Fireface 400. Is this a serious bug ???

You need to open up the Surround Panner and down the bottom of the window is Center Level. Set this to -Inf.
