    Hi guys!
Im trying to consolidate a sequence into a hard disk and i have no success with it.
I manage to consolidate it into the internal drive however.
I reckon that I have a problem with my drives but I don’t know how to fix them.
It appears among my drives when I’m preparing to consolidate. I can select it and order consolidating.
But as the process starts AVID starts loading file informations and then says

    Any suggestions?
    Thanx for the help!
    cesar

Do you have write access to the hard drive you are trying to consolidate to?

I do. Actually the problem goes deeper that this.
Someone told me today that maybe the problem was that I was building the Avid MediaFile folder on my own and that I should let the computer do it.
I just tried to do it: got a totally empty disk without any files on it; compressed on ExFat and with R/W permission and opened Avid. I went to Media Creation and just like before the only drive the program shows me is the internal drive of the computer.
Any suggestions on what should I do to fix this?

Try NTFS or Mac OS Extended. Not sure you can Consilidate to ExFat. I remember running into this in the past.

If you built on your own, make sure you name correctly: Avid MediaFiles\MXF\1

ExFat works for us in RW but I haven’t actually tried to consolidate to it.

Yeah. Normal read and write …never had a problem, but I have had consolidating issues. It was awhile ago, the last I attempted it.
