  • Consolidate/AAF export causes hard crash

I’m currently working on a project off of a RAID backup of an ISIS on MC 8.5.2.
I’m trying to consolidate some sections of audio from different reels and every time I try to do it, MC hard crashes.
The video consolidates just fine, it is the audio that is giving me problems.
The exact same thing happens when I try to export an audio-only AAF.
I feel like I’ve tried everything. I’ve even rebuilt all of the databases.
    Would appreciate any help!

start cutting your sequence in half, and half again to see If it is just 1 file or section that is the issue.
Or try doing tracks 1 and 2 only. Something to help you trouble shoot if it is a particular set of files are actually causing the issue.

I have been able to narrow it down to sections that are causing the system to crash. I haven’t narrowed it down to specific clips.
Also wanted to mention that the original project was cut in MC 7.0.6.2 using an ISIS.
I’m now on MC 8.5.2 using an external RAID HD.
