    I’d appreciate any helpful tips.

We’d like to consolidate our completed projects but much of the audio and some stock footage are re used in other projects.

If I hit the consolidate button will I alter that stock media in any way or will I only end up with ‘new’ files that connect to the consolidated project. I’ve performed this many times in Avid but I’m not familiar with the selections in premiere pro. Should I deselect the ‘include audio conform’ button or is that not related? Should I select ‘rename medial files to match clip names’? or will that rename the original media files? (a very bad thing as those clips are linking to other projects.)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
