consistent crashes on opening capture window
A little while ago, I started crashing to BSOD a few seconds after opening the capture window. Dual 3.06/2 gig/Nvidia GeForce/BMD HDPro, DSR-11 on 1394, PP1.51.
Thought it might be project related, but new clean projects still crash out. Vegas 6 and Scenelyzer Live capture without a hitch.

The majority of BSOD’s are caused by driver bugs, most notably video card drivers. It would be worth checking for an update for your card and installing/re-installing.
Are you using a specific capture card or just a plain 1394 port?

Plain vanilla 1394, with output through the DSR-11 for monitoring.

New drivers and memory tweak seemed to improve things. Thanks.
