    Hi there cows,

I have the edge of a video layer disintegrating for an unusual screen format. Currently looks pretty good with several layers of TC Particular. the further away from the edge of the video layer they get, the less sparse they become.

I’d ideally like to duplicate one layer of these and run them through plexus to generate splines. Which again would diminish and fade as the distance between the particle sprites increases. However it seems that plexus requires math based layers with coordinates.

So my question is – am I missing something? Can Plexus interpret the luma values of another layer to generate points?

And if not, does anyone have a smart idea for achieving this effect that is better than me using TP echospace to create a ‘flow’ of lights and some form of randomness to put in to Plexus?

    Thanks!
