    Hi all,

So I’ve got my YouTube verified for live streaming and I have chosen OBS, which I understand is quite popular.

I do however need some advice on connecting my cameras. As I may have eluded to in past posts, that I have an Activeon CX action cam and a Canon SX60 bridge camera. Both Wifi and HDMI, so I assume can connect to OBS,

Is there a way of doing it? as I can’t find anything online specifically for those cameras. Just to clarify, I’m not doing multi-camera, it’ll be one or the other depending on the filming environment.

    Thanks for your help.

On a PC/MAC? Do you have Thunderbolt?

If you do, the easiest is a Blackmagic mini recorder SDI/HDMI to thunderbolt. Other options go quite a bit higher in cost with USB3 converters, etc. WIFI would not be a good option id you need a quality image or something reliable.

If the cameras are more than 25′ away, you’ll probably need to convert to SDI.
